Overview

Osmo Stone and Terracotta Oil is a clear satin finish ideal for use on microporous natural stone and artificial stone in outdoor areas. It's also suited for paving and window sills made of granite, limestone and slate. The oil penetrates the microporous surface to make it water and dirt repellent as well as stain-resistant it will also reduce dust from screed and concrete surfaces.

Preparation

The surface must be absorbent, clean, dry and frost-free. Using power washers to clean the surface will severely decrease the coverage of the finish.

Application

Before applying the product test a small area on the surface to be treated to ensure you are happy with the finished results.

• Stir the product thoroughly.
• Apply using Osmo Flat Brush, Floor Brush, Oil Finish Applicator Fleece (Hand Pad Holder) or a microfibre roller.
• Apply the product thinly and spread well.
• Remove any excess product with a lint-free cloth.
• For larger areas, remove excess oil with a rubber scraper and polish with a buffing machine (white pad).
• Allow to dry for 8-10 hours and ventilate well.
• Apply the second coat as above.

Aftercare & Storage

Cleaning

Damp cleaning with using Osmo Decking Cleaning Brush. General or multi-purpose cleaners will increase the frequency of maintenance and recoating.

Maintenance

If necessary, intensive cleaning and refreshing using or .

Recoating

Simply re-apply one coat onto the clean and dry surface when signs of wear become visible.
