| Clean Up | Oil based paints - Clean immediately after use in solvent. Do not soak the brush overnight. Do a final rinse with mineral spirits to remove any remaining paint resins. Latex based paints - Clean immediately after use in warm soapy water. Do not soak the brush overnight. Do a final rinse with warm (not hot) water. |
Aftercare & Storage
Always ensure to thoroughly clean equipment after use to ensure longevity. It is recommended to clean the tools whilst the paint is still wet.
- Remove as much paint left on the brush as possible.
- Water-based - Wash with warm soapy water and then rinse well with clean, warm water until the paint is completely removed.
- Oil-based - Use a thinner, see paint manufacturers instructions for recommendations, and pour into a small container to avoid using excess thinner. Rinse the thinner to remove any residue that may be left.
